StudioMD Policies

Cancellation Policy: In order to ensure a quality and timely service, we work with appointment only and require at least 48 hours notice to cancel any appointment (full session, touch up or maintenance). Any cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will result in a $100 charge or forfeiture of treatment session. After skipping a session without 48 hour notice, we may require the service charge prior to booking next appointment.

Refund Policy:  Please note that purchases are final after 3 days of making a purchase, however they can be exchanged with store credit and can be used for any other services of same value. If you have made an erroneous purchase online, within 3 days of the purchase, you can request a refund however a 5% processing and administrative fee must be subtracted from the total purchase in order to reimburse the company of the related costs. Please note that any deposits made for the purpose of securing a treatment session are non-refundable and non-exchangeable as StudioMD sets aside resources for that treatment session. If you have purchased a package with certain package and multi-area discounts, and would like to return the unused portion of your package, the treatment sessions you have received will be priced off of per session prices and any remaining portion of your payment can be exchanged with other services at any time.

Website Privacy Policy: 

StudioMD and its affilicated organizations ("StudioMD" or "we", or "us") are committed to protecting the privacy of all visitors to its Web site. It is our goal to maintain compliance with the highest standards of Web site privacy so our visitors may comfortably and safely use the site for a range of information needs.

What do we collect?

Our system routinely collects information about origin and site navigation of Web site visitors. This information is used only to help us modify the site based on use patterns and is not linked to any personal identifying information. In this process StudioMD may utilize "cookies." A "cookie" is a text file placed on the browser of Web site visitors to identify Web site use patterns. If users do not wish to have any "cookies" attached to their browser, they may disable cookies through their browser or Internet service company.

We do not collect any identifying or personal data on site users unless that information is submitted as part of a request for service or information, such as requesting an appointment or information. If information is required in order to provide a service, the Web site user will be informed as to which information is optional and which is essential for receipt of the service.

Who uses the information?

The only persons using collected Web site access information are StudioMD employees. If a visitor submits additional identifying information (as noted above), that information is available only to the StudioMD staff.

StudioMD does not sell, share or release any information about Web site users to any third parties. Personal information about individual Web site users, as submitted as part of a service or information request, will not be shared in any way without specific consent from the user. However, we may disclose information when legally compelled to do so.

Why do we collect information?

Information about Web site use patterns will be utilized by the StudioMD web team and other appropriate staff to modify and enhance the Web site. Identifying individual information (such as name, e-mail and address) will be used only as requested by the visitor.

StudioMD Web site offers opportunities to communicate with our staff by e-mail. Because normal e-mail is not encrypted, the possibility exists that unauthorized individuals may intercept e-mail messages with StudioMD. We are not responsible for the privacy of e-mail messages, except those stored in our system.

Consent and Records: StudioMD requires signing consent forms and arbitration agreements prior to providing any services or treatments. StudioMD reserves the right to refuse treatments or services in the absence of signed consent forms and agreements. 

StudioMD policy requires  obtaining before and after  photos on all treatment areas for internal recordkeeping. StudioMD reserves the right to refuse treatments if the patient refuses to provide photographs of treatment areas.
